Prized Possession - New Ribbon Holder!!!

I have always had hopes of being crafty. After the wedding I decided to make it happen. So I began scrapbooking, making my own cards, painting ornaments...all kinds of things. Due to all of this, I now need space to put all of my supplies. We have a large walk in closet in our bonus room that has been designated as "my craft closet." Nothing else is allowed to go in that closet.

For Christmas my husband got me this great ribbon organizer (ok, I picked it out, but he still ordered it). I have a ton of ribbon and now need a second one. But I really love being able to organize my ribbon according to season and color!!!

The Holidays!

This holiday season was very busy for us. It started with my 30th birthday and ended on the day after Christmas.

On my actual birthday we went to the BEST pizza place....Warehouse Pizza (way better than Me N Eds). We had some good food and then headed over to T Phillips Bar for a nightcap.

Christmas Eve morning we went to Joe Josts. Yes, that is right, we went to a bar at 9:30am in the morning on Christmas Eve. We went with some of the Liebel cousins and uncles. The place was packed. After a little while we discovered that the beer and food were free, and that is why it was so packed.

Danny was in town, so he joined us at Joe Josts. It was so good to see him, and get to be his partner at shuffle board. We made a pretty good team.

Here I am, kicking butt! We don't have any pictures, but after Joe Josts we went to a bunco tournament at the Greaneys, and it was a lot of fun. Josh and I didn't do very well, but it was fun anyways.

While we were opening presents at Craig and Val's, everyone thought it would be fun to put all of the bows from the presents on Bailee and Layla. It was driving Layla crazy!

I got some new cake decorating stuff for Christmas, so I decided to make a cake to take to my Aunt's house.

I love this cake....so cute!

Saturday night we had Jen, Jeremy, Kolbe and Jennie over for drinks and darts, and Bailee discovered the new pool table and decided it was a good place for a nap. Do you think that she is spoiled?

Christmas Time at The Liebels!

We love Christmas in our home. The day after Thanksgiving all of the Christmas decorations come out, and we get ready for the holiday season.
I have always wanted a pink Christmas tree, and this year my dream came true! We put our fake tree upstairs in the game room and it is pink and purple.....so CUTE! I recently discovered that they make pink lights too. So next year the tree will also have pink lights!

I just love this basket that sits on our kitchen table and fits roses perfectly.

The dogs were posing in front of the tree (of course there were treats involved). They are the best presents ever!

And the dogs by the fireplace and their stockings!

Our house with lights. We have since added more lights, but haven't taken any new pictures. It is hard to tell from the picture, but the things that look like balls are snowmen and look really cute in person. We also put some large Christmas bulbs on one of the trees in the front yard.

Game Room!!

We bought our house 1 1/2 years ago. For anyone who is a home owner, they know that furnishing a home is really pricey and time consuming. I am happy to say that we now have a game room!!

The dart board is now out of the garage and in the game room.

This morning our pool table was leveled, re-bumpered, and re-felted. It is now ready to be used.

This room is so big, and has been empty for a long time. We are buying a coffee table this weekend to put in front of the couch. Now all we need are some pictures for the walls and it will be done.

Random Cute Doggie Pics

Layla all wet after a bath. Her hair gets crimpy when it is wet.
The dogs don't lay by each other too often, so when they do we like to take pictures of the rare occasion.
The dogs love to relax with us on the weekend. They are never to far from us.

My little pumpkin laying on her pillow. Seriously, isnt she so tiny and cute?

Bailee recently got a new doggy door that is in the wall. Now she can actually sit inside the wall.

Layla loves to run around with multiple toys in her mouth. This time she has Bailee's favorite toy and one of my slipper socks (which is one of her favorite things to play with).

What happens when I am at work!

About 4 months ago Josh began working from home. I have always wondered what the dogs did when I was gone...now I know. Josh will send me pictures of what they are doing now that he is home with them all day.
Here is Layla taking a power nap underneath Josh's desk. She takes up the whole space!

Bailee likes to help Josh with his computer work. I am pretty sure that she thinks that she is a person.

This is one of Bailee's favorite activities...teasing Layla while she is stuck outside and Bailee is inside doing whatever she pleases.

My Bailee also likes to sunbathe during the day.

Joe Josts!

On Saturday, all the Liebel women had a bridal shower to attend for Jayme, and while we were there, all the men headed to Joe Jost's for some beer and fun. After the bridal shower, all the women headed over to Joe Jost's, too.

Ever since I began dating Josh, I have heard a lot about a bar called "Joe Jost's." This is the place where Craig gave Josh his first taste of beer when he was 2 years old (thanks Craig)!

Here we are with our ICE COLD scooners! That is the coldest beer I have ever had. It stayed cold because it was like 20 degrees inside the place. And yes, I am drinking my beer with a straw. I don't like to hold cold glasses since I am always cold.

Even Lee showed up to Joe Jost's!

There was some serious shuffle board happening. It was Me and Josh against The Oldtimers....I mean Craig and Jim. Josh and I won 4 games out of 5, so we got some victory beers from the losers.

Here is a picture of the sad losers! They thought for sure that they would be the winners!

Afterwards, we went to Me n Ed's for some food. Craig has been talking about this place for a while, telling me that this would beat my favorite pizza place. I am happy to say, that Warehouse Pizza is still the winner! Only go to Me n Ed's if you have 2 hours to spare, and if you aren't hungry.....enough said!

Jennie & Kolbe's Wedding

This year for Halloween, we had the pleasure of spending the day watching two of our friends get married. We were so happy to share this day with them, and it brought back a lot of memories of our wedding day.

This picture was taken as soon as we arrived and before we hit the open bar!

The wedding had a masquerade theme. The colors were red and black. The wedding party wore masks, and had dances rehearsed. There were also masks for all the guests as party favors. Here is the newly married couple performing a dance.

Josh, me, Val, and Craig all sat at the same table and it was fun. Our table was near the dance floor, so we got to watch everyone dance as we enjoyed our cocktails.

Sugarloaf - Valarie's Birthday

This past weekend we went up to Sugarloaf to celebrate Val's birthday and to finally see the cabin that they purchased. As most know, I am not much of an outdoors kind of girl....I was not expecting it to be so cold!
We took the dogs with us to the cabin. They loved it. There were so many new places for Bailee to explore, and Layla was happy because she was getting lots of attention from the Delgado grandchildren. Craig and Val had dog proofed their yard for the dogs, but the Delgado's yard had spots where Bailee could escape. So after she made one attempt to run off and seek adventure, she was forced to stay on a leash the rest of the day. However, Layla is not a runner, and never tried to leave, so she got to roam freely.

This picture was taken at 3pm....yes that is right. I had that many clothes on in the afternoon! Josh was still wearing a short sleeve shirt and shorts. He never gets cold.

A group photo of the Liebel Family and the Delgado Family getting ready to take a tequilla shot. It seems that every time our families are together.....tequilla is a must.

Val opening all of her gifts. She got blankets, clothes, pictures, and lots of other stuff. Layla was by her side as she opened her gifts.

This was after gifts were opened. Shortly after this me, Josh, Jen, and Jerm all retreated to the cabin to stay warm. Meanwhile Craig and Val were partying it up (I guess the kids just can't hang)!

I had no idea it was going to be so cold, so I had only brought a tee shirt for Bailee to wear. We had to make an emergency trip into The Village shopping center and buy a new sweater for her so that she didn't freeze. Look how totally fashionable she is!

Wedding Pics!

We finally got all of our wedding pictures. It was amazing to see them all, and remember the day and how wonderful it was.

Gage, Craig, Josh, and Zach all before the ceremony. They got there earlier than the ladies (stupid limo driver), so they had some free time to pose for the camera.

Me and my sis in the bridal room while we were getting ready.

Me, my bridesmaids, and my flower girl in the bridal room.

Me and Gage as we are getting ready to walk down the aisle.

I think that Gage was trying to make me cry right here. He was saying some of the nicest and sweetest things to me, so I became emotional....and I was already emotional to begin with.
Me and Gage walking down the aisle. One of my favorite pictures. I love the way my dress looks from the back.

At this point, I was pretty sure I was going to throw up!

Once I saw Josh, my nerves calmed and the vomit feeling slowly went away.

Us at the alter, so happy to be there.

The hard part was done, and we were all smiles and very happy to be husband and wife!

Our wonderful bridal party.

The new complete Liebel family.

Josh with his new brother and sister-in-law.

Me with the best maid of honor EVER! I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have my sister with me for the wedding and the entire week before the wedding.

Me and my sibs!

Trying to get the bustle handled so that we can go into the reception. I had an American and a French bustly....it was very difficult.

Here we are as we enter the reception, very ready to get the party started!

My sister gave a very touching speech. She was in tears...I was in tears...and so were pretty much most of the guests. I knew she was going to make me cry.

Me and my sister. I don't get to see her often, so we are always so happy to be with each other.

Having a nice dance with my maid of honor.

My brother was amazing during the wedding. He walked me down the aisle, and helped to make my day complete.

Me and Gage dancing. So sweet!

Gage was trying to force me to take a shot, and in the end, he won. I took it.

All the girls when I tossed my bouquet.

All the guys during the garter toss. They all look pretty serious about it!

And the cake cutting. Some of Josh's co-workers were trying to get him to smash it in my face, but he was a nice husband and fed me with a fork....thank you Josh!
